  Whistling Sands

Perhaps you have heard of Whistling Sands, where the sand whistles under your feet as you walk along.

There is a beach cafe and shop, and you can access the coastal path from the beach. Children will love the opportunities for rock pooling.




The village of Aberdaron lies at the tip of the Llŷn Peninsula.The village is within a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty as well as Heritage Coastline.

There has been a place of Christian worship at the edge of the sea at Aberdaron since the fifth century. It's well worth a visit to St Hywyn's Church as the many pilgrim groups that visit to experience the beauty and peace of the area have found.



Abersoch is a coastal resort that has grown to become one of the most important water sports centers for both sailing and surfing.

It is a good place to visit for shopping with good clothes shops as well as specialist surfing shops.



Portmeirion village is is one of North Wales' premier visitor attraction welcoming around 250,000 visitors yearly. It is set on its own private peninsula on the southern shores of Snowdonia.

Portmeirion was created by Welsh architect Clough Williams-Ellis (1883-1978) to demonstrate how a naturally beautiful place could be developed without spoiling it.
